Breaking Down Data Silos for Better Efficiency
Friday October 10, 2025 9:10am - 10:10am EDT
K-12 IT teams often cite data silos as one of the biggest barriers to providing timely and effective classroom support. The inefficiencies of juggling multiple systems and switching between endless tabs to find needed data quickly add up. These workflow bottlenecks slow down not only tech support but also impact district maintenance, administrative staff, and teaching staff, ultimately affecting classroom instruction.

From Prints to Purpose: 3D Printing & Plastic Recycling
Friday October 10, 2025 1:00pm - 2:00pm EDT
We'll cover the basics of 3D printer operation, design software, and classroom-friendly workflows, then dive into how to responsibly manage filament waste by introducing closed-loop recycling methods—turning failed prints and scrap plastic into fresh filament. You'll leave with practical lesson ideas, tips on setting up a 3D maker space, and resources for incorporating both technical and environmental literacy into STEM, art, and project-based learning units.

Finding the Tech Leaders in Your School
Friday October 10, 2025 2:10pm - 3:10pm EDT
This session will discuss how technology leaders can find and cultivate other technology leaders from among school staff. There are often school staff who are great with technology but are not technology leaders by title; finding these individuals and making them your allies can aid in finding new technologies to use, aid in rolling out new inititatives, and keeping a pulse on technology use within your school.
