Building and Managing a Mobile Maker Lab (for Real!)
Thursday October 9, 2025 9:40am - 10:40am EDT
Real talk - tech toys are expensive, especially when everyone wants their own! In our district, with a middle school, high school, and 6 elementary schools, we were looking for a deployable solution option that could empower any classroom to be creators and innovators. In this session, we will discuss the tools we evaluated and selected, our goals for the program, coaching support, and managing our resources and how the first half year of the Mobile Maker Lab has gone for Bonny Eagle.

Generative AI in the Classroom - Pushing Pause
Friday October 10, 2025 8:00am - 9:00am EDT
Let’s back up a couple of steps. Instead of jumping right into all the cool tools, do we know what genAI is? Are you an AI-aware educator? How is genAI affecting instruction in the classroom? Push pause for a moment and let’s talk about the challenges, possibilities, and how to leverage it to your advantage. We’ll tackle key conversations with students, set boundaries, and focus on how AI can enhance—not replace—thinking.
